From electro magnetic pulse, recently approved by the FDA for depression to the Rife tube machine, to acupuncture, heliotherapy, kinesiology, to bio-resonance, to Dr Becker's techniques, to massage, to reiki and meditation, to sophrology and clinical hypnosis, energy medicine has its value and limitations, both to "diagnose" and-or to ascertain an illness or imbalance and to "treat" or re-balance a body's energy system.
In this perspective, electro-acupuncture (according to Voll, what is called "EAV") or bio-resonance testing is a method named after Reinhold Voll, M.D., of Germany and dates from the early 1950s. EAV or bioresonance is a purported means of diagnosis and treatment which postulates the proposition that a deviation of electrical resistance at any of over two thousand acupoints indicates a problem in the organ that "corresponds" to the acupoint, that electromagnetic oscillations emitted by diseased organs and cancer cells vary from those emitted by healthy cells due to their differences in cell metabolism, inter-cellular communication and DNA damage.
Although not an exact science (as these techniques may contain false positive and false negative readings and may not be effective on everyone), there may be something to this "energy medicine". Indeed, Recent research in consciousness and information field theory has offered some important insights concerning the virtues and limitations of bio-resonance testing.
On the efficiency aspect, it is established by a preponderancer of the evidence that the majority of the bio-resonance and energy techniques, when efficiently practiced, can identify numerous toxic agents and various health infirmities: these are Environmental pollutants, toxic dental fillings and foci, foods or environmental allergies, viruses: EBV, CMV, herpes, others, candidiasis, parasitosis, nutritional deficiencies, spinal dyslexations, malfunctioning ileo-cecal valves, unbalanced acupuncture points or meridians weak muscles-organs, and other conditions.
On the whole, bio-resonance testing represents an interesting diagnostic modality with potential. There are many techniques of Bio-resonance testing that are in use: mri (magnetic resonance imaging), AK - Applied Kinesiology, EAV - Electroacupuncture According to Voll, CRA - Contact Reflex Analysis Autonomic Response Testing, Omura O-Ring Test, TBM, NAET, VEGA, the "old" pendulum technique for those practioners who are capable of shutting off their mental current and others.
However, on the limitations question, there is the long-term observation that Eisenberg made in quantic physics, namely that the testing is influenced by both the testee and the tester himself, e.g. strong beliefs or doubts are projected onto a patient possibly resulting in falsely-positive or negative results. In this framework, both the tester and testee become a part of one energetic circuit. More precisely, the vast potential of the testing as the source of invaluable medical information is limited by the scope of knowledge and the vibrational flow of the tester when he unconsciously or consciously projects a mental field onto the patient influencing the patient to respond accordingly. That the mind is a powerful computer-tool few brain experts disagree. Consider that in 1996 a super chess-playing computer capable of processing 200,000,000 chess moves per second took on the then reigning world champion Russian Chess Master Gary Kasparov. And lost the match.
Another diagnostic flaw is hinged on the superficial level of analysis without looking at the deeper energetic and anatomical layers that harbor a plethora of pathogenic agents, layers and tissues that are low in conducting properties given their depth. Some of these organs and tissues play a pivotal role in assuring homeostatic integrity. As a result, both diagnostically and therapeutically, bio-resonance testing and energy therapies can fail to both the assessment and the treatment of the deeper organs.
HOWEVER, ENERGY MEDICINE CAN BE USEFUL AS AN ADJUVANT AND COMPLEMENTARY APPROACH

Different epidemiological and clinical studies show that the Sun significantly helps to maintain the P 53 gene expression. In other words, the Sun's electro-magnetic frequencies reinforces living entities' chi and immune system. To understand this, let us look at the P 53 gene. Every cell in the human body has a gene called the P53 gene. This gene tracks the degeneration of the cell and when it finds that the cell is damaged beyond repair, that it is becoming cancerous, it triggers its self-destruction. This active, controlled process of cell death is happening all the time in all of us. 95% of the cells that are in our body now weren't there 2 years ago. The old cells died through this natural self-destruction process that is triggered by the P53 gene. New cells are then created through cell division. In contradistinction, the P53 gene in tumor cells gets suppressed. The tumor cells lose the ability to die naturally. This insight about the P53 gene has led to the development of a new way to re-enliven the function of the suppressed P53 gene and bring back its ability to naturally self-destruct the cell upon recognizing that the cell is degenerate. What this means is that malignant tumors can be reduced and/or eliminated from the body by re-activating the cell's suppressed P53 function. Thus to re-enlivening the P53 function, one does not even need controversial machines. All one has to do is get some Sun and get back to a vibrant lifestyle with good live plant based foods.
